This guy is the best player I have ever seen in my life, seriously I dont know why he is still in high school playing, the guy needs to go to the MLS. He was absent all year last year but now he is back for his senior year, while he was in Brazil he actually got a little time playing for the U-18 Brazilian National Team. Watch out for Dyersburg and number 11.

I have heard about this guy. I will need to check their schedule and try to get

to see him play. I have heard that this guy could be one of the best to play in the history of the state.

wow sounds like a great player, I will sure trace Dyersburg's results thru out the season. I wish our team would have had a game with them.... and he is a midfielder.

Yeah, he played his freshman year, I think he had something like 25 goals and about 12 assists from central midfield. He broke his ankle in conditioning right before our sophomore year, which knocked him out for the season. Then of course he and his family moved back to Brazil his junior year, and now they moved back this summer. Fernando will join 13 other seniors, and will be one of the 9 starting seniors Dyersburg has this year. Watch out Sheffield and Madison, I think this is our year to go to state.

    • Dyersburg may win back to back to back championships. They are going to be hands down the best 3A team. Plus their District/region/sectionals are not very good. They basically just have to make it to region out of a 5 team district that has a few decent teams. South Gibson will be okay but they graduate their best player and there is nobody in the region 7 or region 8 who is going to compete with them.
    • I remember very well watching things change in the late 80's and yes it's all schools. Most people that are in charge today have any idea because they were raised and taught under this social experiment so they don't have a clue. Anyone that does see the truth for what it is usually try and hide it by blending in so that the School Gestapo doesn't round them up and take them to the Fuhrer ( kindly putting it ). Yes it is all schools not just Maryville. This train ride is not headed in a good direction and if the public had seen a movie of what's happening now back in 1980 everyone would have been headed home afterwards to change underware.
    • Hoping to make the playoffs.
    • You are so correct!  It’s really 99.9% of academia want to change to way that education is not only taught but the way it is viewed.  The pendulum has definitely swung as far to the left as possible and eventually will swing to the right much too far.  I have always  said that politics and one’s personal religious views need to stay out of education,  but for the last 40 years education has been running full throttle to what we have today.  If the social experiment that we are currently experiencing continues it is only a matter of time before the public school system in the USA completely collapses and all kids attend private schools or even worse don’t go to school.
    • He was a bruise but Aaron Dykes is HVA’s best RB ever.
