gomocs
http://www.macon.com/mld/macon/sports/13865862.htm While being admirable going to Seminary school, hardly admirable quitting on your team during the season. College coaches will have to question the younger Skogen still at TTHS commitment to sticking it out wherever he goes.
ECS
The way I read the article, he was asked to leave. The coach knew he was leaving at the end of the year and told him not to say anything to anyone and he could finish the year. But the rumor got out and he was asked to go ahead and quit and his bro followed.

redandwhiteforever
I would have liked to see them finish the year at Mercer. Its not good to walk out on your team, but if they were asked to leave there is really nothing you can do. You cant really blame them for wanting to leave. When i saw Mercer play, the were bad. They coach didnt seem to know what he was doing, because there were people on the floor that should not be playing division 1 basketball. And plus they will have a chance to win a NAIA national championship at covenent. Think of this line-up. Josh Suddath, Ben Britt, Jake Skogen, Caleb Skogen, and whoever that big guy is. Thats one heck of a lineup.
