I was at the game and thought the refs made some terrible calls both ways. I really don't think it was one sided but thats just me. I think bad calls are made in basketball all the time. I don't think you can blame the refs any time. EHS lost to two of the last four games by 1 point and bad calls were made in those games too. That's just the way it goes sometimes. I think the refs have just been BAD this year in general but I don't think they are calling it one sided. Both teams played hard and that's what makes the games good. Good Luck to both teams.

A typical comment from a fourth place team. If I remember correctly we beat yall at your place also. I guess bad officiating follows you whereever you go, home or away. I guess the new district is better than you thought. In December a lot of VB folks on coacht thought they would win this new distict but I guess they have learned that Forrest, Eagleville and Cascade can play pretty good basketball. I hope their is good officiating during the tournament on top of the mt. but you know their just might be bad officiating their also.

Ok like someone else said the refs both made bad calls at different times. In the first half it seemed like they got paid from VB but then the second half they had a few bad calls that went to eagleville. So it evened up... So let me ask you this question (unless I should assume) were the refs bad at yalls place?? b/c eagleville won then too. I was there so I saw the whole thing. Face it Eagleville is a better team.

no the refs were halph way decent here no eagleville is not a better team if yall are so much better how come it took so much for you all just to keep up with us and you only won the game making fou shots because of bad calls

VB'S RECORD-19-9, 7-5, 0-2 AGAINST EAGLEVILLE

 

EAGLEVILLE'S RECORD-22-4, 10-2, 2-0 AGAINST VB

 

You have to be kidding me, the record speaks. Like I said earlier VB is a good 4th place team. 4 games out of first and 3 games out of second. You need to be worrying about Middle TN Christian, because I smell an upset.

First of all, I think these teams seem to be very evenly matched. Ummm...Eagleville and VB have played twice. Eagleville has won both. Eagleville and VB have both played Forrest twice. Eagleville has beaten Forrest, VB has not. If records and head-to-head matchups (you know actual scores and wins) don't mean anything in determining who the better team is then why do we even play the games? Lets just hypothesize who is better and go from there, no actual games necessary. I think you are confusing those people argument with that of "VB can't beat Forrest or Eagleville." I gurantee you that is not what is being said when they say that Eagleville and Forrest have both swept VB and are each a better team than VB. VB is good and capable of beating anybody in this district.

thanks i mostly agree with you no there will be no upset with mtca ok there will not even be an upset in your dreams we just beat a top team in the state mon night Clay county but any who i smell a victory for vb in this didstrict just remember the games our are on the mountain Eagleville had a hard enough time keeping up with us at there place lets see if than can pull it off again i really doubt it

Ok eagleville shot themselves in the foot when they got down in each game. If VB was so much better then they should be able to keep eagleville down. And was it bad calls or was it bad defense? Look in mirror before you point the finger.
