Harpeth did a nice job tonight representing District 11AA. The Lady Indians fell behind 4-0 to AAA Clarksville High, but battled back with 2 runs in the bottom of the 6th and scored three in the 7th to pull out a come from behind victory. Congratulations to Harpeth on a nice victory over a very good Lady Wildcat team from Clarksville.

With the Harpeth loss to Waverly yesterday, CreekWood has a chance to move into sole possession of first place if they were able to defeat Cheatham County yesterday. Anybody know the results from this game?

Any other district action yesterday

Montgomery Central beat Fairview 7-2

Sycamore beat Stewart County 3-1

Saw where Waverly beat Harpeth 7-2. Any details on the game? How was Waverly?

Waverly still playing without 2 of their main starters who have been out for 2 weeks now. Younger players are picking up the slack and doing a good job. Waverly hit a 2 out 2 run homer to go up 4-0 after 5 innings. Harpeth scored 2 in the 6th to make it 4-2, but Waverly answered with 3 in the bottom of the 6th with the help of a triple.

Britney Caldwell pitcher for CW hit her 1000th K this past weekend as the CW took second place at the Border Battle. Do any of th 11AA teams, besides CW, have anyone signing to play college ball this year? What about Coty Garrett from Sycamore? I know Allie from Harpeth is playing somewhere. Congratulations to the Red Hawks on a great finish at Lincoln Co.

    • No replacing 3 all state players. Especially Dozier. He would save Rang when he threw it too much.  heard the coach who won y’all the first Clinton game, by giving it to Dozier enough, left for Red pastures.
