If Creek Wood wins and Harpeth wins. Harpeth is the 2 seed, Waverly the 3, and Sycamore the 4 seed.

Has Creek Wood and Fairview played twice yet. I thought they had a make up game. If they still have to play then Creek Wood hasn't clinched #1 seed yet.

I may have jumped the gun on giving the regular season to Creek Wood. I am not sure about Creek Wood and Fairview.

 

Creek Wood shut the door today with their 5-0 win over Waverly.

 

Any word on Harpeth/Sycamore

Cheatham County/Montgomery Central

Sycamore beat Harpeth 9-1. That should tie Waverly and Sycamore for second with Waverly having the tie breaker, both at 10-4.

 

Central beat Cheatham also!

 

That should seed, I believe:Correct me if I'm wrong!

I had heard this as well, but I do not understand why you would set the tournament up this way. I understand wanting to give the # 1 team a bye but if the #1 seed can't beat the # 8 seed, this year Creek Wood vs Stewart County, they don't deserve to be district champions anyway.

When is the baseball tourney?

Softball Crazie if the pitchers stay in a slump fro one more game the season will be over. I think Harpeth has a team that can make a run in the tournament. On the other hand, they do not enter the tournament on a good note.

I would not be surprised to see Creek Wood and Sycamore play in the district finals, just like it was in basketball. I think Creek Wood will be the winner.

rolltide418, I think it will be Waverly and Creek Wood in the final. Also, I think this game could go either was to whom will win. That is if no one on the teams get hurt through the tourney.

I think Harpeth's problem is that they came out pretty good but never improved. They thought they could slide by on "pretty good" because it was good enough to beat Creekwood early on, but they've recently learned that you can't play the same ball toward the end of the season as you were coming out. Maybe these girls will pull through in the tournament, though. I'd look for them to show up next year with more mature pitchers and an all over team.
