Best Linemen in 2-3A? From the past season

Everyone keeps talkin about the skilled guys but they would be the first to tell you that they cant do it with out the big hogs blocken for them so who was the best ones in this region the past season?

Matt Gregory and Derek Morgan from Scott Co. Right and Left Tackle and Defensive Tackles

If that was the case then Scott Co would be better than 3-7.

yea but they aint back there defending the pass and on the outside trying to run ppl down. Matt G best O-line in the region. I Also understand that LA has a All american.

The question was best OL/DL in the region. The offensive line is a huge part of the team. The scored an average of 22.9 points a game against the following.

York Institute 46-29 beat a below average team

Gibbs 14-29 beat a below average team

Oliver Springs 25-28 lost to a below average team

Taft Youth 44-16 beat a below average team

Austin East 8-56 lost to a down team

Fulton 24-56 scored against the scrubbs

Livingston Aca 34-42 did pretty good, but most could score against LA

Kingston 14-56 lost to a Below average team

Anderson Co 0-21 lost to an average AC team

Knox Catholic 20-55 lost to a good team

 

Now what team did they dominate?

I am not at all trying to say they are not two good lineman, just not the best in region 2-3A.

 

I did not see anyone that even was an all region player for LA at line this year. That is only my opinion though.

I did not see anyone that even was an all region player for LA at line this year. That is only my opinion though.

 

I saw an offensive line that whipped the David Lipscomb defensive line the enitre afternoon in Murfreesboro last December. That wasn't half bad seeing as how Lipscomb's defense dominated midstate 3A powers such as Greenbrier (who won the game vs DL but offensively they didn't do much), Creek Wood, and Cheatham Co. You can also add Lexington and Covington to the list of teams that got shutdown by Lipscomb last year.

Hmmm....Well man lets see here. If me and our line wasnt anygood, then how'd we have one of the top rushers in 2-3a....that fact for the entire east tn? If im not all region then why have they chosen me 2 years in a row? You line anybody in the state in front of me and run the ball to my side u better count on gettin yardage!

Catholic's line was pretty darn good..but LA had a few really good studs. But that was history...who on the list will be back next year??? Zak Tait at Catholic was a frosh this year starting right guard some say he was one of the best...

You dont sound like one of the Best Lineman in my opion bc Good and Great Lineman dont say a word if they get put down they show how good they are on the field if they get some glory they dont let it get to there head! You sound like to me a Home Town Hero....lettin all the scott co. folks tell you that your great and its gettin in your head dont get me wrong your an ok OL but your name was sum1 the coaches from other teams talked about! Fultons OL huge plain an simple! #40 Hamliton kid is Amazing! Best DL in this Region followed closely by #51 from Catholic, Romreo (not sure on the spelling) and third in that list would be AC DL they was the best ALL TOGATHER DL i seen all year...... OL in my opion has to go to LA as a whole i mean they didnt have Superstar stand outs they just had 5 or 6 guys willing to open wholes....and 3 of there runners had a 1,000 or close to 1,000 yards a peice, with Mike Jones haven around 700.....but they do loose alot this year on the OL, only returnin 2 full time starters (70, 52) and a sof. this coming year that played alot and in my opion is goin to be GREAT! Jessie Cole.....#57 (RG) but he saved the game as a freshmen in the 2nd round of the playoffs...LA folks knows all about that!

Well man i guess that im just not that kind of person, because if somone talks smack about me im gonna stand up for my self. And man Iam gonna prove wut ive got at the next level at Campbellsville University, and i dont have another chance to go back out there and do it all again on the highschool level. Yea and all of those guys that u mentioned are good they are among the best and we've played agisnt them all of those teams u mentioned and we had 200+ rushing yards on each one of them.

How am I complaining and fishin for compliments?

He said that i wasnt good enough to be on the all region team, and i was pointing out to the man that ive been selected to it for 2 years stright.
