Temple/Clay County Updates?

And BTW Grace Eagles..we rushed the court too..that was pretty intense..the best game ive ever seen...ill even put it ahead of Deanna's winning 3 against Pickett County.

 

Oh me too. The only game I compare to this one is the one against Friendship later that year. Down 12 with 2:00 minutes to go...whew that was intense. I do feel this game was more intense than that one though because it was the 4th year in a row against Temple and it was win or go home. What a great game. The boys tourney weeks seems like it is a good college spring break week so I expect Clay to have a huge turnout. Hope we can keep the run going.

You know as well as I do that Temple will be "rrrrackkking" people next year. They will be the team to beat. They have some serious rackballers coming back.

Yea..that friendship game with Holly making the winning shot was insane..that was a crazy year..but yeah I hope we have a turnout like tonite..wow..and btw C.R. is gonna ride with me if you want to as well...just lemme know man.

This was the best comeback I have ever witnessed in person in my life. Clay Co. just would not die and they made the big shots down the streatch to win the game. That was by far the loudest I have ever heard a gym in my life, It was deafning. #44, Newsom for Temple was holding his ears on the floor after the go ahead shot, it was that loud. This was the first time I have ever seen Temple play, and they were a very good team. If they would have made some free throws down the wire they would have won. The Skogen kid floats in the air like a eagle on his shots, he is a amazing athlete, and I see why he is a Mr. Basketball Finalist. #00 , Jake Hewit, did a outstanding job guarding him in the 2nd half. I have never seen anyone play defense by staring at the ofensive players chest and holding your arms up. BUT IT WORKED, especially when the double teams came in. #44 Dee Newsom, is by far the fastest kid I have seen play basketball this year, he is something else.

i agree this rrraaacckkkballlll crap is ridiculous i cant stand it. The forum is not called boy's rrrrrackkkkkball it's boy's basketball
