soccerpro1
Really ugly weekend in Huntsville against some quality opponents. Granted two of the better teams in Alabama but 6-2 and 5-1 - UGLY! Fortunately Randolph and Grissom aren't playing in DII.

The Contractor
That's wierd cause Brentwood beat Grissom at there first pre-season game. Father Ryan did not play very well on the weekend. Friday night they came from behind to win in PK's after two OT's. The Friday night game was delayed because of tornadoes, and the other games were cut short, with the teams only playing 60 minutes. Ryan didn't play consistant Saturday. They had spurts, but they were worn out from late games, long games, plus the hot sun. None of these count as excuses, but that is part of the reason for the lopsided scores. On a different day, the scores mat have been the same, but they probably would have been a lot closer. I will have to agree with that, if I recall correctly, 2 years ago BGA beat Ryan bad in the regular season about 6 or 7-0 and then in the region championship, BGA won 1-0 in a game that probably could have gone either way, It seems to me from past years that after Ryan's coach plays a team once, he will beat them the second time, or the game will be down to the wire. They did the same thing last year beating CBHS and Mcallie after losing to them earlier in the year.

blumpkin88
BGA plays Randolph tomarrow at 7 given the storm doesnt get here. should be a good one, but I thought that I heard somewhere that Randolphs best player, and Under 20 National Team member was finished with them for the season, if this is true it would probably really hurt Randolph. Any Ryan players know if this is true since they recently played them?
jstone14
The kid you're talking about is Bill Dworski (sp?). I'm not sure if he's done for the season or not...but he's quite good. I herad the same thing after we played them for the first game on friday that got cut short...
