For the York Dragonettes

This is just something for the York Dragonettes. I thought it might be too long to post in the FRA or Jackson NS topic, so here it is. I've never been prouder of a group of girls or been so glad to be associated with one. You girls have been incredible these past few weeks. You've been unstoppable until tonight. I love ya'll so much and could not be more proud of what you've accomplished. To Brandi, Amanda, and Sam, I'm glad you made it to State in your senior year. It took a lot of work and determination, and you made it to the semifinals. When two of you told me on senior night that you'd be hosting substate, I honestly didn't think you would. I hoped you would, but doubted it. You proved me and probably half the county wrong. You girls have been wonderful leaders for this team and have been awesome the whole time you've been a part of it. I loved playin with you three, and I'm so happy to know you. I love you, and I'm proud of you. I know you gave this everything you had and that you always did your best. I'm gonna miss seein you three out there. I love you. Brandi, I'm sure I'll hear more about you when you get to MTSU. Keep up the good work. I think you should win Ms. Basketball, hands down, for the way you've carried this team. You truly deserve it, along with the other honors you've already received. I love you three. Keep in touch when you get to college.

To Katy, Brittany, Molly, Hannah, Megan, Kaycee, and the rest of the Dragonettes. When you get back into conditioning and all the hard work that comes with camp, practice, and running, think back to these two games in the state tournament. Remember what it felt like to represent your school, to walk into Murphy Center as one of the 8 best teams in Tennessee. You can do it again. It'll just take a lot of work and a lot of want-to. Even though I don't know some of you as well, I love you just the same, because you're Dragonettes. You play and you love it and you give it everything you have every night. Keep up the hard work, ladies. Good luck next season.

Finally, to Coach Bruce..... Coach, I love ya. I loved the years you were my coach, and I wouldn't trade them for anything in the world. No matter what anyone says or thinks, I support the things you do and the moves you make for this team. I'm proud of you, Coach, for makin it to the state. I love ya. Let me know if there's anything that I can do for you because I know you'd do the same for me.

I love all ya'll, and I'm so proud that you were our representatives at the state tournament. Congratulations on a wonderful season! Go York!!!!

We are very excited that a talented athlete like Brandi has chosen to attend Middle Tennessee. She will definitely be a great asset for our 3-time defending Sun Belt Conference tournament champion Lady Raiders.

In his first year at the helm of the Lady Raiders, Rick Insell's first recruiting class ranked 10th in the nation according to USA Today. It's student athletes like Brandi that will not only secure our future as a force to be reckoned with in women's hoops, but also will go to show that we are a comprehensive four-year university dedicated to excellence in academics as well as athletics.

Can't wait to see what Middle Tennessee Women's Basketball has in store for it now.

I am not quite sure who at MTSU made the last post but that was a classy post also. It probably fit the timeframe for a number of people.

Dude, actually have the guts to say it to them, don't post it on some Internet message board...

i doubt muffin is a dude and that post had nothing to do with guts.only thing to do with guts here is your lack of guts.to accuse someone of not having guts on a nameless message board is truly gutless.i would bet that muffin tells those people all all those good things as she see's them.

I TO AM PROUD OF COACH WINNINGHAM AND ALL HIS TEAM. IF SUDENTS HAD NOT MOVED TO ANTOHER COUNTY, YORK WOULD HAVE BEEN STATE CHAMPS. IT IS SAD WHEN THIS HAPPENS. IT COST THE KIDS FROM YORK, AND THE OTHER KIDS DID NOT GET A GOLD TROPHY EITHER. KIND OF FUNNY HOW THINGS TURN OUT. GOOD LUCK TO BRANDY BROWN, SHE IS GOING TO ONE OF THE BEST WOMEN'S BASKETBALL PROGRAMS IN THE COUNTRY.
