Reds spank the Cubs 9-2 today. Arroyo hit a home run and threw 7 shutout innings. Dunn with a pair of homers, E. Encarnacion with one and Griffey, Jr. with one.

Good taste in teams, muffin! I've been a Reds fan since my childhood when my Dad used to make the drive up 75 from Corbin-London to take me to games at Crosley Field and Riverfront. Needless to say, Pete Rose quickly became my childhood idol. Now, my wife and our two daughters take the same trip with me a couple or more times a season.

And I forgot to give Adam Kearns his props---he also homered in yesterday's game!

2:20 game time today I believe. This year's team can put runs on the board in bunches. If they can get any pitching, it could be a better year (for a change!).

Nah, I think they're getting the message now.

Reds win 2 of 3, taking the rubber game today by an 8-3 score. Adam Dunn hit a solo shot early, then Felipe Lopez and Austin Kearns came up with 3-run dingers each.
