Farragut @ CAK

Farragut and CAK play tomorrow at CAK at 7. It should be a good game as the two teams tied early in preseason. Just looking for any thoughts or comments.

I think it will be close but end up 3-2 in favor of Farragut.

but it should be hard fought and well played.

then again CAK did beat Oliver Springs (harmless joke).

Farragut i do belive has bragging rights in this rivalry, they murdered CAK last year, but i think they where playin without brandon Tarr, and i do believe he wont be there tomorrow, but CAK 2-1, Very close, Great Match for sure

This should be a great game! Farragut is a very strong team with great players and a good coach, CAK has been playing well as of late and i know both teams are going to want this one. Hopefully it will be a clean hard fought game

This is very common with the public schools having the better athletic individuals, but private schools having the better soccer team. However, don't forget that athleticism can counter the difference in team play.

I'll say 2-2.

Umm..this is always a real good game. If Farragut plays the way they are capable of playing, which they usually do against CAK, then they will probably win by 2. If they come out slow and do not play well in the first 10-15 minutes, they are going to find themselves behind a goal very early. I love both the teams. Good luck. Go Ads.

I talked to someone on the phone who told me that CAK won 1-0. They said it was a good game. I have to say, I think Coach G does an unbelievable job at CAK. He is not only a quality coach, he is alo a fine Christian man who holds his players to a high standard. His love and passion for soccer and his team are unbelievable. Every kid who goes through that program is a better person when they are done.

gocal, those words mean more to me than you can know. "To Him be the honor glory and power".

 

We scored fairly early, and fought an even first half. We had a 40 minute rain delay, and then started the second half. Our keeper made the game winning save right there near the end, when it looked like Farragut was just about to score. I was also very impressed with Farragut's keeper. Farragut is such a great team. I love watching their players play. Ben Backstrom has wicked footskills, and it was great to see Ben Lawson back out there as well. Classy team. I wish you guys the best of luck in the tournament.
