TynerRamFan
If Tyner had Maryville's coaches they would win state every year. They are consistently the most talented team around, but they continue to sweep through the regular season against teams that can't come close to matching up and then get beat in playoffs by teams that are just better coached. Here's hoping this is the year Tyner figures it out and wins it all. ...Excellent article this morning in the TFP, Student Section titled "Dawn of Summer means grueling workouts for high school athletes" by Brandon Pouncy, senior guard on the "RAMS" football team... he emphasized how important it is to continue to work in the off-season and Brandon did a good job interviewing Robert Thrasher(de & rg), Otis Rumph(rb & lb) and Kevin Howard(og & dt)...these players(and the entire team for that matter) seem to have it all figured out by putting in the time during the off-season(weight room, camps, running and eating the right food). ...Congrats on the article, Brandon and I'll be looking forward to the 1st scrimmage in August!!! johnnyboy
Sounds like some are really getting dedicated around there, that's great to see. I wish the Rams nothing but the best of luck.
