I have to respond to the player from USJ. Maybe one of the reasons you are being overlooked is because of the fact that Summmertown has gone undefeated this season in class a. We have a very talented roster and play in a tough district and region. I am sure you will see us at state and you can see for yourself. Also I would like to point out that we are a PUBLIC school in a small community. We do not recruit our players or have access to the top talent in the state as do private schools. Private schools should not be able to compete for state titles versus public schools--they do have the advantage of player selection where we must use what is in our own community.

2. We dont recruit because we are in A-AA. Only Division II schools are allowed to recruit. How do we have an advantage over you? neither of us recruit and yall actually have an advantage over us. We dont even have 400 people in our high school.

3. Also, yall havent played a tougher district or schedule than we have. We have played MUS, MBA, Seigal. We played at the Rotary tournament and at the Carter Invitational. We have played people from Baylor, McCallie, MUS, MBA, Lone Oak, Father Ryan, Science Hill. Our district is also no joke. We play Northside whose doubles team got to the state semi final in AAA last year.

 

The reason that there is division I and II is to seperate the schools that recruit and those who dont

 

please know what your talking about before you make an argument about how we shouldnt be competing against private schools

Undefeated means nothing, playoffs are a completely different game. I also looked at your schedule and it didnt look like anything compared to ours.
