Yep, tim. These girls, and their coaching staff, should be VERY proud of what they accomplished this season. Losing 6 starters from last year's team and then going to State...well, it's AWESOME! NOTHING to be ashamed of! Looking forward to trying to replace 5 extra-special starters off this year's team and seeing if we can get back next year. I hear there's a pretty good group of athletes coming in from the middle school...in all sports.

 

You, on the other hand, tim, got your verbal shots in every time you got a chance about us. But, you know what? Our school and children are pretty resilient. They always seem to over-achieve and don't let the little people bother them. You have to be pretty tough mentally to compete on a high level year-in and year-out. Hopefully, we'll keep it going.

 

Congrats, girls! Now go graduate, you awesome seniors, and enter the next chapter of your life...AS WINNERS!

Indications in today's Nashville paper, The Tennessean, that this game had a questionable call that allowed a runner (who eventually scored) to be on base.

What happened???
