Nice job McKenzie.

I wonder if anyone from that 1932 team is still around? They`d be in their early 90`s now.

There is one player from the 1932 championship team who is still alive. Per the Jackson Sun, he is the grandfather of McKenzie's first baseman.

McKenzie's first baseman, John Kermit Laughery's grandfather is still with us and likely at the game today. His name is Kermit Holland and he played on that 1932 team that won the championship last.

Mr. Kermit is something of a sports legend around McKenzie and Carroll Co. at the very least and I for one am really glad that this sharing of championships has happened between a grandfather/grandson!!!! That's just too special!!!!!
