David Lipscomb wins the region. They return a bunch of key players from last year's state runner up team and that loss to Livingston will only have this team more hungry to win it all this season. That and the fact that McAdams does an excellent job.

Marshall Co. SHOULD MAKE THE PLAYOFFS. They return what will without question be the most high powered offense in the entire region. If they can stop anyone from running the football down the throats this season they'll be fine and could possibly challenge DL for the region crown.

After that I don't know what to say in all honesty. Giles Co. is a team that just missed the playoffs last season and despite losing their coaching staff they do return a bunch of key players from that team. Montgomery Central is going to be a much improved football team and if players can stay healthy they could sneak into the postseason just as was the case in 2004. Spring Hill's head coach is back in the good 'ole U.S.A. and with any kind of stability on the sidelines they could improve quickly. They have several athletes that can hurt you and they do play Marshall Co. in week zero (last year's game was a classic). CONFIDENCE+ATHLETES=SCARY.

Creek Wood, Page, and Cheatham Co. are always going to be contenders in the region. All three teams are always physical and exceptionally well coached. The thing these teams have in common heading into 2006 is the fact that all of them lose almost everyone from the past two seasons (EXPERIENCE LACKING).

I think Marshall County will stop the run much better this year. I think we are going to force people to throw it in order to beat us. If we can do just that, our offense will look even better.

Tiger's D will be much better. Hightower will have a great yr and Marshall Co will run the ball more than last yr.
