Underated player

Harding Academy of Memphis has one of the best players in the state and he gets no press his name is michael Jerkins. Michael has been clocked at 85 mph serve and has great feet and will probably go to Virgina on a full tennis scholarship but yet he gets no press. Why?

First off i don't understand why you think 85 mph is good. In high school i could serve 115. I have been clocked that fast now in college. That might be why the press don't come running

85 isnt anything. I can serve alot faster than that, and i've only been playing for 2 year. I got a serve over 100 mph, but I get no press either so i dont know what all the fuss is about.

im in high school, i serve 105-115 consistently, and i dont get much recognition, so dont expect any for serving 85. If he gets a full tennis scholarship to virginia, virginia is just sad, because i could hold my own against most of the reigon, but im probably gonna end up at an NAIA school with partial scholarship.

Johnny Thorton is the best D-2 player in the state and is underrated. Merrill Nelson is overrated. One day we will see Thorton in the U.S. Open, probably losing badly.

Drake Smith from Mt. Juliet is an underated player. I don't know if anyone here has had the chance to see him but he's quite a force to be reckoned with.

alex butler is the most overratted player ever. last year, he got beat by McCallie's number 10, christopher hennen, who quit earlier this year.

Zach Downs is the most underrated player in tennis today. Just watch out for him next year because he is a beast.

Merrill Nelson is da bomb. He's the number 4 prospect in the South. He's lookin at Vandy, UNC, and Wisconson.
