BGA New Coaches

We haven't heard anything about Tim Johnson and his new staff at BGA, how are they doing? What are they honestly expecting this season?

They looked alright in a passing scrimmage against Ravenwood. I'm looking forward to seeing a scrimmage before the season

BGA looked okay but they still don't have the athletes to compete, right now. I spoke with some of their parents and they seem to think that this year's sophomore class will be the class that makes a difference for Coach Johnson and his staff. If anyone wants to see some future talent I found out the BGA is having a full contact camp for middle school kids on this Wed., Thurs., and Fri. from 4 -5 everyday.

I'm guessing Johnson will bring a balanced offense to BGA. It will be interesting to see how they adjust after years of running the Wing-T.

Given time, BGA will do well under Coach Johnson.

I think once they get adjusted to the new system, they will be fine. Johnson has already proven he is a winner.

i think they got coach mcdaniel from riverdale doing the strength, if so i have no doubt they will become alot stronger and that will transition to the field

Yes, Coach McDaniel is doing the strength training and has lots of excitement going on in the weight room that should transfer onto the field. Lots of enthusiasm also going on among the players and the coaches at practice. Just like it was said previously---Coach Johnson is a winner. I think these guys all know that their hard work will pay off. It may take some time, but I think this team will be fine. They are headed to Webb School the first week of August for football camp.
