How did this scrimmage go?

It was a good physical match-up, with some good hard hitting. It looked as if both teams were simply working on different things and not necessarily trying to score at all cost. There was a lot of good defense early on and some good offense later in the scrimmage. I believe that both of these teams have an opportunity to be very good this season.

How much shotgun did FCS use? Did Miller and Searcey split time at QB or did one get most of the snaps?

sycamore scored twice on offense ( after the o line began to block ) and once on defense. Austin lohin ran it in twice and John Clanton picked one and took it about 100 yards. Friendship scored twice but sycamores defense was made up of nearly all jv or second stringers camores defense force 3 or 4 turnovers. nice physical hard hitting scrimmage both teams still need work but they both still need improvements. I think both these teams will be good and have a chance at contending for titles as long as they continue to improve and get better.

wvumoney, lets hope thats not a recurring problem like last year. i knew first hand what it was like las year and the line this year should be the best since the run to the quarterfinals a few years back. a good line is the key in high school football and i wish u guys the best of luck. ill scout some knoxville teams for u boys when it comes playoff time.

How did Matt Carrigan do in this scrimmage? He is a good athlete, i wonder if he will excel.

Heard he didn't do good. He's not that great of an athlete.

i dont know this personally, just heard it through the grapevine, that carrigan is about as athletic as jarrod from subway....pre-subway diet.
