TWF Board Meeting - September 16, 2006

Please mark your calendars for September 16th for the annual TWF Board Meeting. We will have a special guest this year - Mark Scott - from USAW National office.

 

Once we have received confirmation on our site reservation, we will update this post with the location, time & agenda.

 

One of the big agenda items will be election of new board members!

 

I have received confirmation from Mark Scott, Director of State Services, USA Wrestling. He has confirmed that he will be attending our meeting on Saturday, September 16.

 

His intentions are to lay out a plan to re-energize USA Wrestling programming in the State of Tennessee. He asks that you bring with you your ideas, concerns, complaints, etc. But most of all, We need to be prepared to be open minded, constructive, goal oriented, and ready to set up a plan to make sure USAW is the premiere wrestling organization in Tennessee.

Any association, school, business, etc... will only be as good as the people in charge. IMO, if your organization has been having trouble you need to take a long and hard look at who is running the organization.

September 1 is the beginning of the new Tennessee Wrestling Federation (USAW) season. Please go online to renew your membership.

 

We will be having our annual TWF meeting on September 16th @ Cumberland University. For further details go to the TWF message board.

 

If we don't see you at the meeting, we will look forward to seeing you on the mat sometime during the next year!

Are you going to post the agenda or should people just show up not knowing what the agenda will be.

Take a look at the minutes from last year - the agenda should be very similar. Sheree Felix is working on the agenda. If you have something you would like to add or just get a copy you can contact her. Her contact information is available on the TWF website.

Why not post the agenda? Some people may not want to register with another site but if the agenda sounds interesting they may attend.
