I will be surprised if Oak Ridge wins a game this year let alone beat AC in their jamboree. I will also be tickled to death because of same. The kids don't deserve it but Stevens deserves to be beaten at O R by 100 points after the display of sportsmanship last year.Any comments?????????

I think we'll win a few games this year. We could have easily had 100 pts. Stanton played over 50 kids that night. What are we supposed to do tell the back ups not to score. Should we send the offense out there starting in the second quarter and tell them to take a knee? Funny you should bring up sportsmanship. We had a little extra motivation after Clinton students vandalized Blankenship field, the steps, the press box. Coach Shattuck didn't have a problem with the score, ask him yourself. I know of one game at least we ought to win, that will be next Friday over at Clinton.

Last year the Clinton JV Killed the AC JV,

Clinton Varsity has improved enough to beat Union County.

That was a stupid thing that those boys did, by vandalizing the Oak Ridge field! But the boys that did it, didnt even have anything to do with the football team, their the type of crazy boys, that dont even care about football, and that have never even been to a football game, I didnt blame Oak Ridge for doing that to them last year.

 

If you can score that many points, go ahead and do it, you might as well make yourselves look good. This year will be a good game.

coonhunter, I agree completely.

 

There's a growing sentiment that we should drop Clinton. We don't really gain anything by playing them now days. I think in 2008 if Maryville is placed in region 2, that will take care of itself. I for one, still really enjoy playing Clinton, it used to be such a huge and exciting rivalry when they were good.
