anspa
1. 1. McCallie (1-0)- what a game, they are the most sound team, with a great leader.. 2. 2. Ooltewah (2-0)- little slow on offense, but as soon as Marshall and Woods pick things up, they are talented, maybe toughest team to beat, big matchup next week with #6.. 3. 4. Red Bank (2-0)- they know how to win, if they can get in a groove on offense, watchout.. 4. 5. Cleveland (1-0)-lots of young talent running through the offense.. 5. 7. Tyner (1-0)- not sure they have it all figured out but they are hecka quick everywhere, and the Craddock bloodline is still kicking.. 6. 10. McMinn (1-0)- resurgence in Athens? 7. UR Hixson- if they find some consistancy, they could fight for the top of the best region in this area with Hardy at the helm.. 7. tie 6. Rhea (0-1)- always tough to beat, played the Owls tough.. 8. 3. Baylor (2-0)- not very impressive overall, but they sure so pound the rock, getting the wins but not yet against anybody.. 9. UR S. Pitt (2-0)- little suprised to see them struggle against Boyd, Robinson will carry them a ways though.. 10. UR Howard (1-0)- should take Nooga 3A.. sportsfan23
Number 7 will change with Hixson and Rhea County. Hixson will go down to Evensville this Friday. It was a great game last year when a hail mary fell short for Rhea County. I expect another great this game this year.
hwfox4vols
Lets not give McCallie too much credit for their win on Friday. They didn't beat Riverdale, Riverdale's coacht beat Riverdale. McCallie was throughly dominated throughout the game. I mean giving up over 400 yds on the ground, wow. Lets not kid ourselves, McCallie should have lost. Ooltewah is the best team in the Chattanooga area. And Rhea tied for #6? Don't have much of a problem with the ranking but they did not play Ooltewah close. Other than their one TD drive, they were competly dominated. How is 28-6 close? anspa
McCallie gave up 431 on ground. and zero through the air to one of the best teams in tennessee, as far as rhea playing close, 28-6 aint bad against a team as talented as ooltewah... rhea will be one of the better teams in the area this year.. this was their frst game and the owls second.. not to mention it was at the nest.. In some fans' minds Ooltewah has the best team in Chattanooga. In others' the moon is made of green cheese and except for a couple of mistakes, UT had a great team last year. As Bill O'Reilley would say "Stay away from the Koolaid".

Yep, looks like domination to me. McCallie will not see an O-line as strong as Riverdale's and they will not face any backs nearly as good as Riverdale's 3 in the wing-t. McCallie gave Riverdale plenty of breaks as well. McCallie played sloppy (first game) in the first half. Dropped balls left and right, fumbled kickoff (that led to an easy touchdown btw). That game could've gone either way. Both teams had a fumble and an interception a piece. 5 penalties for Riverdale, 4 for McCallie. Look at the total yardage above. Do you see a pattern here? NOT DOMINATION....btw, good look to Ooltewah. And fox, be careful before you post garbage without numbers to back it up....

sports89
Zero thru the air....did't they only attempt about 3 passes? Why throw when you can run for close to 450 yards. and zero through the air to one of the best teams in tennessee, as far as rhea playing close, 28-6 aint bad against a team as talented as ooltewah... rhea will be one of the better teams in the area this year.. this was their frst game and the owls second.. not to mention it was at the nest.. BenHasRisen
Nice top ten, cept for Howard. They would get smashed on by teams that aren't even listed.
