Not so fast!

I think Lewis County will win but they won't blow out Loretto. The two teams have been playing since Rock Hudson was straight and they normally have some pretty good affairs.

I have not been so blown away by Lewis County's play. They have yet to explode on offense. They are fumbling way too much and the defense showed some kinks against the pass versus Stewart County.

They are gonna have to work if they equal Camden, in my hionest opinion.

Well it is finally here Lewis County versus Loretto. This game has been a rivalry to me and everyone I have known in my lifetime. Loretto always have brought their "A" game when it comes to playing the Panthers. In Lewis County we call this "Loretto Week" it brings out the best in the Panthers. 'In 95 the senior class all had shirts made for this game which said BEAT LORETTO' hence the name Loretto Week.

There is alot of bad blood when it comes to these two teams. The real question to the score of the game is how many mistakes will the LC offense make? I see thoe offense finally finding a sense of rhythm this week. THe possibilty of big 21 coming to play has this thought in my head. When Loretto focuses on Hatton, the offense turns it into overdrive.

Also there is some players from Loretto that LC just loves to hit, cough cough, #16, Luke Buttrum. I will be shaking my jugs with the rest of the Panther Nation. While the Panthers take this one.

38-21

First, grinch I know exactly what your talkin about! Loretto Week! Beat Loretto!

If you remember half the team wore white socks folded over their cleats last year that said beat Loretto too! THose were the days...

Newho yes it is a huge rivalry but even with last years lacluster team (I can say that bc i was on it) lc would have blown loretto away if the officiating hadnt been so terrible. YOu know erasing scores off the board from lewis county, giving loretto the ball back after a hold on a punt return by lewis county, lewis county's star linebacker being thrown from the game just bc a certain player's father that happened to be a coach for loretto wined to the refs that he hurt his son and so on and so forth. We should have killed loretto last year, they will kill loretto this year!

If you want to see a dirty game come to Loretto this Friday. The referees usually let the play go about 5 seconds too long, or atleast that is what it seems like. Lewis County just hits you hard during the play then Loretto hits you hard after the play is over.LOL. Basically the grudge is held year after year because of this over-physical game played every year.I just hope it turns out to be an injury free game. Good luck to both teams.

but my prediction stands.

38-21

I don't believe I have ever seen one continue to issue so much poor mouth after getting beat 45-7!!

If Lewis County actually isn't "that good"... then how bad is Stewart County?

    • lol, not me. I did ask about that because I was watching the siegel vs Farragut game. It was backwards there as well. I believe for the camera to get it right it has to be put in by the NFHS team correctly or it will be backwards.

    • Mancoverage, the analogy to the esteemed John Ward is a commendable gesture, underscored by its profound implications. It is indeed an honor to be likened to such a luminary figure. Moreover, the assertion that the prospective head coach resides within the confines of the aforementioned list resonates with perspicacity and foresight. GOAT, it is imperative to acknowledge the potential impact of disparaging remarks upon the esteemed individuals cataloged within the aforementioned list, meticulously curated by Clint and myself.

    • Color me shocked that Keith is playing the victim in all of this. You would think a 27 year old “military man” would own up to his mistakes. All those singing his praises on multiple media outlets and social media might need to do some due diligence and talk to those that have had some real bad interactions with DK.    at the end of the day what stinks is that some innocent people are going to be caught up in the mess that the Head principal, Keith and a few rogue teachers created. The head principal was warned multiple times about Keith and chose to hitch his wagon to him and the monster that was created couldn’t be controlled. But as we have now seen, Jenkins was doing his own stuff below board to make himself look better. And what stinks even worse is there might be more people that lose their job that were the ones doing everything in their power to warn Jenkins.
