When you have Coleman in your backfield and several good running backs you don't put up the kind of stats that Cooper does although he's a heck of a ball player but here are McC's most active backs' stats

G Att Yds TDs YPC YPG

Poindexter 3 17 175 2 10.3 58.33

Conney 3 33 243 2 7.36 81.00

If Poindexter, Conney and Dozier had run the ball 70 to 90 times this year, they'd have big numbers. I doubt if they or Potter are worried too much about it though.

I don't care how many times you give to Poindexter or Conney they are not in the same class as Cooper!

You are right on that! Both are good athletes but not in Cooper's class. And no it is not because they have so many names...it is because of Cooper. Everyone knows he is going to get the ball....and still he gets over 200 yards again. He is in a class by himself.

I know that if mccallie only had one good running back that they had to rely on that they would put up cooper's kind of numbers. and if mccallie knows that cooper is getting the ball this friday, he wont have very many yards at all

    • If y’all lose to Farragut something awful has happened.
    • Get him to Bearden ASAP! Or anywhere, Karns hs is in rough shape, probably not getting out of it anytime soon.
    • I'm not a Powell grad.  I am a Bearden grad.   My son and daughter are Powell grads.   I did radio play by play for Powell, my last year was 2013. I also did radio play by play for South Doyle, and my last gig was at Maryville before I retired.   My oldest grandson plays in the Karns Middle program, so I see more Karns games than I do Powell these days.  I've been to 3 Powell games since 2013.   I don't have any ties to Powell, haven't since 2013.   No "y'all" there.    And the kid you are talking about does have a very good arm, but he's not the QB that Deuce Rogers is.  Rogers is a legit dual threat guy.  The younger kid now at Clinton, or about to be at Clinton, isn't the dual threat that Rogers is.
    • No sir. I watched it specifically and it was very dirty. He cleated the boy on purpose. Apparently, it’s an issue in football as well from what several schools have said. That said, looking forward to a good game 3. ER hit it well in game 2.
    • He is the transfer. 5star spoke on him in their new qb1 series. Didn’t list em as a transfer but I knew the name
