ann shelton tullahoma/ole miss

It has to be Ann Shelton imo. I think she led the nation in goals against and percentage saved last year in her second year at Ole Miss (I think she red shirted ). She single handedly got Tullahoma to the state final (I think, maybe semi) when they probably didn't deserve it if I remember right.

But , Erin Lycan, Soddy Daisy and U. of Virginia is a close second.

Of course Kelly Dyer is very good, but both Ann and Erin were as good and probably better at certain things than Kelly. Ann and Erin seemed to be very good at stopping people from scoring in their box. I think that is somewhat of a lost art with today's keepers since there is so much zonal play, and rightly so, that there is always a field player a step away to get a piece of the shot.

Franklin has def. had some strong keepers in the past. Amanda Martin was a great shot stopper and ended up playing college ball at two different universities. She is now at UNCC coaching the goalkeepers there and doing a great job. Taryn Holland graduated last year and ended up at Mississippi State. She also was strong for Franklin starting as a freshman and playing all four years for the Lady Rebels.

Brentwood had a good keeper not too long ago. I can't remember her name though. Anyone know who I am talking about?

Probably Steph Stallo.. she set the state career shut-out record... opted out of college soccer for missions work. Was limitted athletically, but made up for it in leadership and tactics.

Have you seen the MS State stats this year. MS State or Taryn Holland's stats are not that great this year. FYI
