atnvol
What a difference a year makes. Hard work and desire can overcome much and the boys at GP are deserving of the recognition they are beginning to receive. This week North Greene pays a visit to the Mountain Thicket with hopes of a upset. GP has become a strong running offense, but in my opinion they need to work at developing a sincere passing attack for the occasions that come when the other team is putting 8-9 in the box or the opponent has dominating defensive line play. It will be tough to work on this this week with QB Eric Hutchinson out with a ankle injury. Look for GP to remain grounded considering that Hutchinsons replacement Taylor Ogle got off to a somewhat inauspicious debut passing last week. (Threw 3 passes with two interceptions.) According to Earl Nall Prep Performance rating GP is a heavy favorite. The D needs a good performance as they have not been as strong the last two weeks as they were the first three weeks. They are really banged up in the secondary and will be missing one and possibly two starters. Any thoughts? dukesofhazzard
The Teams GP has beaten this year are a rousing 1-31 combined record. This shows that the polls only use win and loss records

Just enough to keep other teams honest. I would think they would have to spend most of their practice time on stopping DD,Bo, and Pitt. Tigers44
The Teams GP has beaten this year are a rousing 1-31 combined record. This shows that the polls only use win and loss records Yes, it is true that GP has had a lot of success against teams with a combined winning rate of 1-24 Duke. Remember that 5 of those 24 came at the hands of a team averaging over 300 yards a game rushing. When those games were initially scheduled, those teams had a better winning rate than they now have. Yes the win loss rating is determined by how many games you have won and lost. In the strengh of schedule rating GP is number 57, and in the Strength plus success rating GP is ranked number 22. Also, how many games has your team won?
gphstrack
G-P is recovering from a losing season last year. The boys are more enthusiastic and ready to win this year and that is what they are going to do! All the teams that they play this year are the same teams that they played last year and had a losing season, so the excuse that the teams that G-P play have a bad record is not all that acurate. Those same teams beat them last year and now G-P is ready to play!
