Even reading is name makes my blood boil. A buddy of mine and myself were discussing if it would be possible for him to lead the league in wins and losses as recently as 4 weeks ago. I can't wait to see him NOT in a Cardinals uniform next year.

Worthless #2....

 

You know, he's not been great by any means, but he's not been horrible in St. Louis. So much to the fact that if we can get bring in a quality #2 and #3, I wouldn't mind keeping him around as a number 5 guy. He's actually pitched quite well the last month or so (which means of course he's going to get shelled tonight). But, if they decide to go the route of Wainwright and Reyes as men in the rotation, I don't want him back.

Well, I still hate them with a passion, but a big thanks goes out to the Atlanta Braves from this Cards fan. At least Smoltz pitched today, which made cheering for them a little more bearable.

 

If any of you care, I ran out to the car to listen to it on the radio, and they were playing the Tomahawk Chop in St. Louis.

I have got a friend that is a stros fan and I was catching some ragging a couple weeks back and I told him that Atlanta would keep the stros out in the last season and he told me the stros would sweep the braves! I gotta say it was fun to see the look on his face after that weekend!
