Today is the day that one of two things happen.

(1) The Montgomery Central Indians finally win a game against Marshall County

(2) Marshall County gets back into the win column.

Either of these scenarios are possible as we all know. Both are actually a long shot. I personally hope for the latter of the two.

I think his point is that those are two pretty darn good teams, and MC better get some swelling out of their heads if they have that attitude. The last time i checked MC was still battling just to get into the playoffs.

I know what his point was, I just love having Big Country reinforce

it.

One upset & they're in.

Look out Giles County.

No they need them both to be in for sure dear. One win COULD still put them into a 3-WAY tiebreaker scenario. That's great for Marshall if the other two teams are Creek Wood & Spring Hill (both of whom the Tigers beat) but if Cheatham Co. or Page are a part of that equation then Marshall will be in trouble. Why???? Both of those teams hold the head-to-head against Marshall and both have more overall wins out of the region than does Marshall. That would put Marshall on the outside looking in come playoff time.

If I were a Marshall Co. fan I would start rooting for Creek Wood to beat Cheatham Co. in week eight and for Spring Hill to beat Page in week nine. If both of those take place then the Tigers will be a playoff team with just one more win this season.

The Tigers will beat both Lipscomb and Giles! Remember Big Country our defense is now great again! We shut down the high powered Indian offense last night! Lipsomb and Giles dont stand a Chance during "The year of the Tiger!" We also have 2 weeks to prepare for Lipscomb so they really dont have a chance!

Man.......you crack me up or ....you are on crack... Either way, your userid is about right.

Delirious would be pretty close. I wonder if mctigerfan is this optimistic.

    • One school has said it, it was York…who Oneida and many school that played them before we did claimed that they were the dirtiest bunch they’ve played. Riverside didn’t call us dirty nor did smith after they beat us. Ur only dirty if your the one giving out the whoopins.
    • If it was anyone but #8 I would agree with you. Theirs a couple people on that team that probably would. Not him. And I who was standing on the 1st base line fence saw clearly that the boys foot was covering more than half the bag.
    • If y’all lose to Farragut something awful has happened.
    • Get him to Bearden ASAP! Or anywhere, Karns hs is in rough shape, probably not getting out of it anytime soon.
    • I'm not a Powell grad.  I am a Bearden grad.   My son and daughter are Powell grads.   I did radio play by play for Powell, my last year was 2013. I also did radio play by play for South Doyle, and my last gig was at Maryville before I retired.   My oldest grandson plays in the Karns Middle program, so I see more Karns games than I do Powell these days.  I've been to 3 Powell games since 2013.   I don't have any ties to Powell, haven't since 2013.   No "y'all" there.    And the kid you are talking about does have a very good arm, but he's not the QB that Deuce Rogers is.  Rogers is a legit dual threat guy.  The younger kid now at Clinton, or about to be at Clinton, isn't the dual threat that Rogers is.
