Playoff chances for region 5-2A

Anybody know the scenario's for this region's playoff teams?

it looks like GP will be 1st

CPA will be 2nd

I know they play each other the last game of the year

but the cougars look very good

 

fairview seems to have 3rd if they lose to CPA and then win out

4th place imo will be dca-ezell winner

well GP CPA and Faoirview are pretty much gauranteed a spot in the play offs the last spot iof up for grabs i think perhpas a 3 way tie between ER DCA and Ezel who knows

Alright i think i have things pretty much figured out...

 

 

Ezell still has to play: Goodpasture/ DCA/ FRA

 

DCA still has to play: Harpeth/ Ezell/ E.R.

 

E.R. still has to play: FRA/ CPA/ DCA

 

If Ezell wins last remaining games then that they are in

 

If DCA wins out then they are in

 

If Ezell loses to Goodpasture and DCA....and E.R. beats FRA and DCA then E.R. is in

 

If E.R. wins out and Ezell loses to DCA then they are in

 

If DCA or E.R. loses 2 of last 3 then they are out

 

If E.R. and Ezell win out then Ezell is in due to the tie-breaker of head to head

 

I think that is it except for if E.R. beat FRA and DCA and DCA beats Ezell and Harpeth and Ezell beats just FRA then it would be a 3-way tie between the 3 teams and i don't know how that tie-breaker will go down...

CPA 4-0 6-1 Fairview,East Robertson,Goodpasture

Fairview 3-1 6-1 CPA,Franklin Road Academy,Harpeth

Ezell-Harding 2-2 3-4 Goodpasture,DCA,Franklin Road Academy

DCA 1-3 3-4 Harpeth,Ezell-Harding,East Robertson

East Robertson 1-3 1-6 Franklin Road Academy,CPA,DCA

Harpeth 1-3 1-6 DCA,Goodpasture,Fairview

FRA 0-4 2-5 East Robertson,Fairview,Ezell-Harding

 

 

This year will be just like last year. Right down to the last week for most positions. Once again we have the toughest Region top to bottom in 2A

Here is how the tie-breaker would work for your last scenario:

 

Since all three teams have the same region record and head-to-head doesn't determine a winner, the tie breaker would be overall record:

 

DCA 5-5

Ezell 4-6

E.R. 3-7

Looking at the remaining games, IMO DCA has the best chance to get the 4th spot.

ER and EZ would have to pull off upsets.
