The seating is certainly cramped, but the folks run an efficient tourney. I don't ever remember seeing dead mats and they had a good group of officials. If there's a way, it would be nice to finish Friday night around 10:00 for a 8:00 Saturday weigh-in. Maybe wrestle a little more on Saturday instead of finishing on Friday after 12:00? Met Porkchop103 and he is a nice young guy - hope you have a great year. Good to see Rigger and both his boys again. How about Pat Flynn and all those OLPHers BearCat and Harry? The best part of all might have been Charlie on the baby grand in the lobby - now that's talent!

it was nice meeting you too walkenvol...thanks alot and i hope too see u guys do good the rest of the season...we will also be at McCallie, G.I.T., and the Soddy Daisy Inv. Well thanks anyways :thumb:

Still had a good run. 4 pins and he wass very light. Looked like 220 at most. Caleb Leonard from Halls is a 10th grader that is very impressive. Big and strong and someone to watch over the next couple of years. Amen to the seating problem. There's got to be an answer to all the gear that the teams are hauling into the stands.

Talked to Calebs Dad after the Tourney. He learned a lot at 215 last year and is still a growing boy. He wants to get up to 250+.

He needs some camps or other opportunities to get some extra mat time that doesn't conflict with football to get to the next level as a grappler.

Not taking anything away from Big John or Coach V because we all know they had the tools.

Congrats To Baylor on all the young men in Red in the finals.

Congrats to KCHS on a great Tourney on Saturday. However, going to midnight on Friday night was ruff on all the families and grapplers weighing in on the next day.

Fair price to watch some Great high School wrestling.

215 match was 3-1 for Morgan! Shane Reveiz looked good for only 6 days of practice.

The Commandos Freshman 189 took 3rd against some tuff comp.

Lassiter HS had some good looking kids in the finals.

AJ Farinella from Farragut took 3rd.

Nice to see all the great folks from the Coacht community!

Go Commandos.

For those that do not want to be in the gym until midnight the Black Horse Invitational was out at 9:35 Friday night. Saturday we were completey done at 6:00 pm. We are always looking for East TN teams to come in for the weekend.

A little healthy competition never hurt anyone, right coach?

We are always looking to promote out product and get more quality teams to travel out west. Elvis Pressley's Graceland, Renezvous Ribs, Beale Street and The Belmont are all great reasons to visit Memphis. With end times of 9:35 and 6:00 you would still have time to do those things. For Chatt teams that want to drive home they would be home around midnight.
