The South Pittburg Pirates are the Sequatchie Valley Conference Champions by defeating Rhea Central 20-14 in one of the best football games I have ever been involved in. The lead went back and forth with South Pittsburg intercepting a Rhea Central pass with less than a minute left to seal the win. It was truely a battle between two good teams

Congratulations to the young Pirates..... It's good to keep the championship in the South end of the conference..... Congrats to the coaching staff as well. You guys do a good job with these kids.........

 

 

 

 

Thanks PG. This makes putting up with 28+/- teenagers for 3 1/2 months worth it. The kids were ready for this game, they wanted it and they went out and played their hearts out. We are really proud of them. All their hard work paid off. Now we can sit back and enjoy, at least until Monday when BBall starts
