Its hard to be humble when you're a Tiger fan. Hey if you cant beat us you can always get on Coacht.com and whine about it!

Comes with the territory doesnt it?

After all the seasons you had leading up to the last 3 you should be very HUMBLE.

0-10 being the shining example. Oh yeah, that season was motivation.

Go ahead and point out our 3-7 2003 season........I can say we were competitive.

I just think he didn't want that 3 points to reflect their effort. Even though they didn't do much better against our 2nd string. And even our 3rd string scored on them. Which just made them look worse or CA's coach doesn't have the class

Smith does. I'll let the fans decide that one

CA doesn't have the players the other teams have in regards to numbers. They only dress out about 20 - 22 players on Fridays. They only have 7 offensive linemen total. They put in subs on defense earlier, but they don't have the players to sub on offense at certain positions without moving players already on the field around. They don't have enough for a 2nd or 3rd string like Mt. Pleasant. Don't think it had anything to do with showing class. I will give Mt. Pleasant's Coach Smith props he called off the dogs early and has every time he has had the chance this year. Congrats to Mt. Pleasant on another dominant region championship. They had a great crowd there Friday night. If I recall about 4 or 5 years ago they didn't have 50 people in the stands. Guess everyone likes it win you Win!!!

I don't think it was Marco layin out those hits to open those big holes he come out of.

I don't think it was Marco recieving all those passes he completed.

I don't think it was Marco sacking the quarterback.

I don't think it was Marco intercepting all the balls on defense.

I don't think it was Marco on the defensive line stuffing the run all night.

I don't think it was Marco getting every handoff all night.

And I don't think it was Marco scoreing every TD put on the board.

But I do think Marco led the Tigers to victory, after all he is the team captain and their quarterback and they feed off him. But it is quiet disturbing to know you would resort to a statement like that.

NOBODY on that field hit harder, ran faster, played smarter offense and defense

than the WHOLE TEAM of the mTp TIGERS ! The game was over at 47 - 3. I warned you they were going to bring it. ;)

Great post!

Where did you get those numbers? I dont think Collinwood has had football that long, and take away the years they didnt play when MP was in 2A. Wait is MP a 2a school playing 1a. Now that would be a good excuse. :thumb:

They had 29 on their roster, although one 8th grader didn't have a number listed. Maybe he's the waterboy? I don't understand why, when the game is obviously out of hand, you don't take out your starting qb and the others that started and put in the younger guys. What do you have to lose? If Nowlin is injured then what are you going to do? You have to beat Huntland to get to the playoffs. I don't get it but I am just a girl.

    • And can you tell me who those two quarterbacks were, and every kid that was put into college from Bearden is a Bearden kid? It’s kind of why they graduated from Bearden.   and I would definitely not consider ETSU “waste”…
    • Most of this is complete gibberish. But the one part I could decipher is putting kids in college. This coaching staff hasn’t put a single Bearden kid in college. They completed wasted one of the best WRs in East TN and have ruined two talented QBs. All because they’re in over their heads.
    • Well, I’d hope the new coaching staff thinks they are all that because they can always walk around the school, anytime they want, thinking that, especially for what they’ve done for the student athletes and the players, putting more kids in college in his first season than the old coaching staff did in numerous years combined, but we will just sweep over that because I know you don’t like facts. But trust me, nobody wanted Mr. Big britches, made the star player switch to quarterback, which is ultimately the reason he ended up transferring to play the position. He loved, but unfortunately, had to be at another school because Mr. Big Britches doesn’t like when a teenager knows more than him, but can’t expect much coming from a guy who used all class throwing pencils up into the ceiling and making fun of football kids who were failing class right to their face, and in front of numerous students, even projecting on the board most of the time.
    • After that first paragraph, I can see why you’re a TA and not a teacher. Have you made the move from South Knoxville to Bearden yet?    Maybe he left because he is an actual teacher and coach, and didn’t want to be associated with a group of foul mouthed middle school coaches who like to pretend they’re big time.
    • Yeah and the coach is gone. Whole bizarre situation here. We played them a couple of times at MTSU last few years. She was a player for sure.
