Anybody know who the Rebels scrimmage, and when and where?

Also the REBELS scrimmage Dresden Mon. the 6th at 3pm at Central. Going to be an exciting year, the chair seatings are going fast i here.

the 1st home game will be against gosnell ark on dec 1st....as for how the rebels will do district and record wise....I would say atleast a little over .500 and 2nd in the district.....

That is right rebel, the Gibson Co games will be jv and varsity boys only at home.

i just got wind that there will be a scrimmage at Central's new gym against Covington sometimes next week. I believe Thursday but I'm sure that's not 100% accurate.

I really think the rebs will do great this year with Kail, can`t wait to see them play.

if they can get up and down the court with the more athletic teams of the district, and with the shooting that they'll will without a doubt have, they should be trouble.

I really don't know about the team but it isn't a big school...But..then again..a small school could still have a pretty good team..I'll try to find out..The school is right on the main road coming into the town..As a matter of fact ..it doesn't really have a downtown like Newbern,Trenton etc..Has a small convenience store,a car lot,police dept,and a pawn shop and not much else..It's located about 4 miles from Blytheville..I take my son to Gosnell just about every weekend because his mother lives there and he has a step-brother that goes to Gosnell..I'll try to find out about the team..how they did last year..how many returning starters..how they are expecting to do...Lake Co plays another school nearby ,Armorel,Ark and based on what I've seen..the schools there don't have the talent that is in our area.

 

 

I]ll be going to Gosnell tomorrow and will try to find out about this year's team if I can..I believe they've already started the season there amd may have played a couple games already....I did find out that their school is 7th -12 grade with about 650 students total..Just the high school,9th-12th grade has about 350 students...about like a Single A school here...I believe they had a record of about 13-13 last year.!

Heard that the Rebels didn`t do to great Thursday.Any comment?

I heard they looked horrible. Couldn't play a lick of defense or handle the ball. These have been major areas of concern for the Rebels in the past and something that, if true, needs to be fixed ASAP. If not they could be in for some hard times again this year. In all honesty I believe that this is just a bump in the road for the Rebels this year. Hopefully they're still working out the kinks and can come together and live up to the expectations that have been put on them. I believe they'll overcome it. Coach Kail won't let it tear this team apart or hinder them. I'm sure it was just a bad start and a small chink in the armor.They'll be fine.

Didn't practice just start on the 30th???? Come on guys, give the man a break. At this rate, everyone will be talking about what a bad hire he was. Coach Kail's record speaks for itself and his teams will be disiplined, BUT he doesn't own a magic wand to wave. Give him time.
