Cody Quick (Tullahoma) will be able to compete at this weight class. I hope he has a successful junior season. He has increased his speed and strength and will benefit from his off season wrestling.

 

Lettner (Soddy Daisy)

Is a great kid, but it is hard to predict what wrestler will hit the mat. Some matches I have seen he looks like a world beater, then there are some matches where he looked very sluggish and not very sharp.

 

Rogers (Collierville)

Great strong kid that seems to have his heart in the right place.

 

Morgan (Union Co.)

The returning state champion at 189 and would be a force to deal with if he goes up to 215.

Worley @ Hixson ( sophmore) could shake things up a little if he lives up to his potential and wrestleslike he does in the practice room. He is a great kid and good work ethic.

 

i agree todd is a great wrestler who has a great style and work ethic. he also pushes all of his partners to be better. because of todd the top three weight classes from hixson will be a lot better this year.

      Richland plays at McKenzie on Wed.  Should be a good series.  Does Richland have good pitching?

      Congratulations to the Warrior baseball team winning the Region Championship.  Last night the football team beat Franklin Co 33-0 in their spring scrimmage. Warriors looked very good. Missing a few players who were playing baseball but still absolutely dominated. A lot of young ones got in halfway through the 3rd when the score reached 33-0. QB Tilton Pickett looked very sharp.  Sam Pickett is on another level this season. Seems to have put on 15 to 20 lbs in the off season and added a step as well. Transfer from last year Williamson caught numerous balls and is very elusive. Lots of athletes on this team. Defense was smothering and will only get better. The head coach from Sewanee was in attendance and offered 2 kids after the game. Could be a special year.
