I just wanted to congratulate the Bobcats on a fine season. They never played like this any time I was there or anytime I can remember. If anyone has any comment on why this years team is taking care of business, let's hear it. Also, thanks for bringin the cowbell home. That's enough to make me happy. ( Sorry CoachT)

It was 10 years ago that Giles Co. had their best year ever in football. In 1996 they were a state semifinalist. This year's team has the potential to accomplish that and much more when they are healthy and clicking on all cylinders. I wish them and every other Region 5-3A Playoff Team the very best once week eleven rolls around.

is the second round considered the semi finals? if i'm not mistaken they lost to Milan that year in the second round of the playoffs because it was comimg a mosoon. i know the next year (1997) they lost to melrose. one game away from the state finals.

The Bobcats will end their regular season with a tough test - - facing, possibly, the best QB - RB combo in the Region at Marshall County. In addition - - when you throw in the GC-MC rival ....... the playoff picture doesn't matter. Although a victory for the Tigers over the Bobcats helps ensure them an increased chance of a playoff appearence........... but, look who they would draw .......... neither draw is a pleasant road trip. Ugh!

i think thats right, ask Knox Vanderpool he was the qb the year they went undefeated.

He won more games and has been deeper in the playoffs than William Johnson. That is a FACT!!!!

he was coach of the 95 season that went undefeated during the regular season and the 96 season that was one win away from going to the clinic bowl how do you consider him the worst coach ever i think times just caught up with him coaching changes over the years.

He was also the coach for the freshman team this year and they went 6-2 for the season and were invited to a bowl game in Tullahoma. They only played one 3A team all the others were 4A and 5A teams. Their final record was 6-3 not bad for a coach who is the worst HS coach ever.
