Good Morning Big Red Country! It has been a little while as I have been out of town on business early part of this week. But we are ready to roll against Northside. The Patriots are fired up and realize that they must go into the playoffs on a positive note. They will come out with fire in their eyes and close the deal. I think that oooooooo has a good score posted.

Go Big Red!!!

Where you been Drew? This post has lagged on with no one responding. I can't be on here so much like you guys. :P School has been out for a couple of days maybe that is why there is not as much talk going on.

Glad you are back from your business. I'm sure you are going to Jackson on Friday. Glad you liked my prediction. This one won't be close. Gaddis will have the boys ready and I see a Big Red WHOOOOOOOPIN coming on.

The East boys are getting excited about coming to Paris next week. We will see when the time comes. Right now it is Northside!!

I think the biggest lag comes from it being an "off" week rather than anything else. You kind of get out of the habit of getting on here and posting. But I am excited for this game just because I think we are going to be really fired up. Good thing for the Big Red bad thing for the Indians...

We are focused on this game. Very focused. Overlooking NS is something that we are not capable of. We must go into the playoffs on a good note. Please excuse my ignorance but is JCM still playing for third? Or fourth?

For a legitimate answer to your question...JCM is playing for third or fourth.

If the Henrys beat the Northerners like they should then JCM is in the playoffs provided they beat the Harders. JCM would then come in third if the Bright team loses to that pseudo-Cougar team. ;)

They are playing for basketball season in Jackson Central Mary, they have turned in their pads and gone to the hardwood, JCM is a basketball school,

You incoherence is getting a bit old!! If you would read my posts and the posts of a few others, you might learn a little football and you could respond with a meaningful post every now and then. The YANKER actually feels sad for someone like yourself who wants to know something about the game of football but can rarely think of anything to say that even resembles sanity. Are you absolutely certain that you are not a soccer mom??? The YANKER has long suspected this!!!

Welcome back Yanker! It has been difficult to muster up much discussion after the layoff last week. Plus it has been fall break, which also slowed things down. But now lets get on to the meat of the matter. HC will come out with heat this Friday taking care of business for the last time in regular season. I expect that JCM do the same...

Is it still suppose to be raining tomorrow night? I expect Northside to make it a little closer game than 27-7. Northside is playing at home and have much more on the line in this game than Henry County. An Indian win puts them in the playoffs. Henry County has 2nd place secured and that won`t change win or lose. I still think HC wins though.

Excuses...excuses...excuses...I do not want to hear them my young and failing Cephus!!!!! The YANKER does not want either game to be close but I fear that ours will be. I hope the rain does not affect HC adversely. Your 275 pound battering ram of a running back should like that weather and NS should not. Has anyone checked the birth certificate on that SOPHOMORE (ha ha) running back of yours. You can rest assured that the YANKER will during the offseason. In the meantime, tell him the YANKER says happy 25th birthday!!! I AM THE YANKER!!!!!

 Oh Yanker, your killin' me with laughter!!! I am not a man of excuses so I take back all that I have said as to why this thread is weak. No excuses.

I am hoping that the rain will not affect us either. I don't believe it will be a major factor though. It seems that it will be past us by game time. But that still leaves a sopping wet field of play. Yes, #34 should like it. And I know him and his Dad personally and there is no reason to worry about his birth certificate. When you do research it, you will be surprised to find out that he is one of the youngest sophomores in the school with a late birthday! He played last year as a 14yr old Freshman against Brighton getting his first 100+ yd game on varsity! IMPRESSIVE!!!

Do not try to pull one over on the ole YANKER my "thread failing" Cephus of a friend!!!! The fact that you know the 25 year old son and his dad means nothing to the YANKER...but the YANKER does have a question...who is older...the 275 pounder or his dad????? Do not try to kid the YANKER...#34 is not YOUNG...and his true age will be discovered by an investigating YANKER when the season ends. For now, however, use your grown man of a running back to beat NS...make sure that he warms up properly...it takes a little longer when you reach his age!!! Make no mistake about it though...if your "grown man" of a running back visits the ROCK next year...he will lose there again...end his career after being brutally tackled over and over...and then promptly begin drawing Social Security!!! I AM THE YANKER!!!!!

    • Groves got the ball over 20+ times. His son arguably played the best for East in that game. 3rd and long multiple times and he came up big to continue a couple drives. Please shut up for the 3rd year in a row
    • And can you tell me who those two quarterbacks were, and every kid that was put into college from Bearden is a Bearden kid? It’s kind of why they graduated from Bearden.   and I would definitely not consider ETSU “waste”…
    • Most of this is complete gibberish. But the one part I could decipher is putting kids in college. This coaching staff hasn’t put a single Bearden kid in college. They completed wasted one of the best WRs in East TN and have ruined two talented QBs. All because they’re in over their heads.
    • Well, I’d hope the new coaching staff thinks they are all that because they can always walk around the school, anytime they want, thinking that, especially for what they’ve done for the student athletes and the players, putting more kids in college in his first season than the old coaching staff did in numerous years combined, but we will just sweep over that because I know you don’t like facts. But trust me, nobody wanted Mr. Big britches, made the star player switch to quarterback, which is ultimately the reason he ended up transferring to play the position. He loved, but unfortunately, had to be at another school because Mr. Big Britches doesn’t like when a teenager knows more than him, but can’t expect much coming from a guy who used all class throwing pencils up into the ceiling and making fun of football kids who were failing class right to their face, and in front of numerous students, even projecting on the board most of the time.
    • After that first paragraph, I can see why you’re a TA and not a teacher. Have you made the move from South Knoxville to Bearden yet?    Maybe he left because he is an actual teacher and coach, and didn’t want to be associated with a group of foul mouthed middle school coaches who like to pretend they’re big time.
