I am very impressed by what Coach Gillum is doing. I think he's got his kids playing hard and with alot of emotion. His offense moves the ball. He has plenty of good help as well, both "old" and new. If they can figure out a way to keep the ball like they did against AC, they might put some points up. I don't know if they can match up with Catholic, they're pretty physical. But I like Scott's heart. Good luck to the "men of steel".

just curious...what type of offense is coach gillum using...he played for me in middle school and I so proud of what all he has accoplished thue far...coach hall is a personal friend of mine too...so I guess you could say I have some ties to SCHS football...

Catholic rolls easily, 42-6. If the scores on CoachT are correct and if I am reading the TSSAA website correctly, Catholic will be playing Gibbs next week. Scott's season is, of course, over now.

I believe somone said smith was gonna knock out any redneck come his way it looked to me that he was the one getting knocked around when the highlanders could get ahold of him Good luck to catholic

scott is going to dominate the game with their speed, strength, and size scott will win this one like they would if they played oneida whoever thinks catholic is going to win this one must be a crackhead

Scott-Cheerleaders get ready to start this game

Catholic-I just hope Harrison smith doesn't have his college career ruined in this one from getting hurt

Karma s*cks. Harrison Smith absolutely decleated a Highlander receiver who had to be carried off the field. Scott Co. lasted about 4 minutes not 4 quarters. Passing game was effective at times for Scott but thety couldn't get into the end zone. Catholic got very balanced scoring. Smith may have only scored once but got them to the goal line repeatedly and others punched it in.

Old Highlander- You obviously weren't at the game with your comments about Smith getting knocked around. See above!!!!

    • RR, you might remember. Didn’t someone hide the kicking shoe that game? It seems I remember we had missed a kick the week before, and we needed all the points we could get. We thought we had a better chance going for two, so $?&@$ hid the shoe after the first miss that game. No one on our sideline looked for it very hard.
    • I will never forget the 1983 Heritage vs Maryville game. I remember driving home and listening to WGAP. Can't remember the announcers name. He asked Coach Story why he kept going for 2? Story told him " Why didn't you ask Renfro that last year"
    • TSSAA will let them all go to Mase.
    • Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
