How come Midway and Meigs Co. don't play anymore? Used to be a good rivalry and for the last few yrs. they haven't played. Just wondering if anyone knew why?

If no one can score, there is no need to play the game. Thus, the "rivalry" is extinguished. Beyond this, I dont believe two moustached coaches can be in the same gym at the same time...a new TSSAA rule.

Of course I will offer explanation. What we have is two pristine defensive programs who would hold the other team scoreless, thus rendering a Nil-Nil draw, a score which is only warranted in soccer. With that being said, the two teams dont play because without a score, there is no result.

 

I can offer no explanation about Mr. Carter's decision to disallow the moustache to be dually represented in one contest, but I can say that the Mr. Carter of which I speak has no connection to Rocafella Records, beyond what might be a closet love of The Black Album. The TSSAA is often a body that we, civilians, find inexplicable. Email them.
