Well I guess I should have just picked the same exact team as you then?

I thought I could state the players that were the best in region 6 in my opinion.

That or I should have loaded the team up with players from my own school because they're my favorites.

Honestly, I watched Cordell every game and all of that garbage about him turning Indy around is completely untrue. I've watched Indy in every single football game they've every played and it was the team's offseason work ethic that turned things around, coupled with a soft early season schedule that helped them gain confidence. I've watched Becker in 5 games and Becker is the better quarterback...he's the best in the region. The all-region team should not be based on stats in my opinion. Becker is still playing because he's a winner and he can make things happen on the ground and in the air.

I picked Henson as a DL to try to give each school a representative.

Shift Simon to DL and Henson to LB since those are actually their positions.

fromthetop2 do u know d1 talent? just because some players in this region have quit doesnt mean that future ones will. why did they quit?

Matter of fact, I do. Players quit, oftentimes more than not, for the reason that while they were getting wrapped up in "who's recruiting me," they didn't fully understand the sacrifice, the all-consuming time demands, and the commitment needed to play for four or five years. Many can't take the hit of being at the bottom of the totem pole, the fact that some players are as good or better than them walking in the door. They, in short, aren't emotionally ready to play college football. Some want to have the "fun" life they see their friends having. Sometimes they get hurt- and then delegated to the back of the pile.

I see no reason why this will change in the future. Most of the players in 6-5A haven't played against the type of talent you see in the BCS schools. Maybe a few players, but not a whole lot of them. Some of the best talent produced at the HS level the past few years went to low level D1 schools. This year was not overly blessed with BCS talent-level players.

Don't know why you'd put Becker over Cordell. Becker was hurt the first part of the year and Cordell almost singlehandedly reversed the fortunes for Indy. Also, I don't know why you don't have McLemore as one of your DBs. He finished the year with 8 interceptions. Also, George is actually a DT and how you didn't include Casey Dykes I will never know.

My guess is that head to head.....Cordell didn't finish the game

I would add RB, Alex Holling from Brentwood to the list. He was dangerous every time he touched the ball. Did a great job on K O returns.
