From what I can observe, it involves a whole bunch of doing nothing and throwing together stuff last minute that includes countless spelling errors.

Now, I can tolerate spelling errors because everyone isn't perfect.

But they misspelled people's names. Certainly some of the names may be difficult, but the names are all available on the teams' rosters, all of which are available electronically.

If you completely botch a player's name (they called Taylor Lankford 'Tyler Langford' )and also incorrectly state his grade (they said 12, it's actually 11), why are you putting him on your team? It's evident that you know nothing about the kid.

They also butchered Consiglio's name (Consegleo). I am glad they included McLemore at DB (who would have had 8 interceptions, but one was called back on a penalty). He had a monster year that was overshadowed based on Centennial's overall lack of success. But Campbell by no means should have been a first team receiver.

I don’t reply a whole lot however as a Williamson AM 1st team player and, according to the 2 lists posted a all region 1st team player, I think I should put my 2 cents in. Though Todd is a great athlete he should not be included as a great special team player. Honestly he wasn’t even the best return back Franklin had ( see Casey Dykes ). I think I agree that overall the best O-line in the region was Ravenwood’s, if for nothing else they were some of the biggest O-linemen that we(Franklin) faced all year in any region, they were also very quick and strong. As far as backs go, I think Dickson county had to great backs, I don’t know they’re names but they’re #’s were 1 and 27. The quarterback should definitely be Becker, he makes his team better. Though Cordell was always strong when his team was ahead, however when he team was behind (see the Franklin game as well as all losses) he appeared mediocre. As far as defense goes I think most of what was said is correct. I think one has to include Landon Dunford despite his low # of picks (he dropped about 10, guess that’s why he doesn’t play receiver). You could chose to include Dykes or not include Dykes, it seemed like he made about 3 sacks every game, the only thing is that those would be the only tackles he would get in the game.

Sgunit, you're a classy player and I'm sorry for you that you guys couldn't make it farther in the playoffs.

I didn't have Dykes on my list because I felt like I needed to put one player from each team on. Robert Henson was in the top 10 in the state in tackles and he was the only guy from CNE that could even come near the list. Were all of his tackles legit? Absolutely not. I don't think they give assists at CNE. Same with Isiah Smith from Columbia...I could've put someone over him, but that would mean that Columbia had no all-region first teamers.

It's hard to include everybody that's deserving. Casey Dykes probably could've been my specialist/ATH, but I have been so impressed with George Tanifum, Jr...

Good luck in your football future, sgunit...you getting any looks?

The fact that I did end up making some all star teams will help but it will always be hard for a 5’10” white guy to get many looks. That being said yes I have received letters (though letters don’t mean a whole lot) from around 20 D1-D1-AA schools. At this point Fro and I are both looking very hard at western KY(who I believe is moving up to D1 next year) and I’m looking at Harvard. Both of us are keeping our options open and neither of us have been offered any full rides thus far. We will both be sending out tape in the next couple weeks to several schools. I haven’t completely looked over trying to perhaps walk on at some of the bigger schools I have received (such as UK ,Bama, Hawaii, Southern Miss, ect.) and I believe Josh is doing the same. Thanks for you interest.

Harvard...fairly prestigious academic institution.

Rumor has it that Snoeyenbos from Ravenwood is going to decide between Harvard and Yale.

Snowy is a really bright kid (as well as a terrific offensive tackle). Any Ivy League school would be lucky to get him as a student and an athlete. He's also a great kid from a fine family!
