Anyone see the Williamson A.M.'s all-county team today?

 

Jonathan Long continues to prove that he has zero knowledge about the game of football. I don't even think that he watches the games. Todd Campbell was first team WR while Chris Darnell wasn't even good enough to make the second team?

 

I think that CHS 2007 and I should team up and take over the Tennessean High School sportswriting duties.

 

Of course, you'd see a huge writeup about any IHS-CHS game. :rolleyes:

I'm gonna throw in my O-Line category and nominate Indy's Scotty Hazzard.

 

Why would you put todd campbell as special teams player when he did not even really play on special teams? And you really think Scotty Hazzard was the best off. lineman?

I saw that list and had to ask myself if I missed something. Darnell was 9th in the state in recieving and didn't even make the cut. Donathan, I'll call the AM and make an appointment for an interview. :thumb:

From the Franklin games I saw and from what Franklin students told me, Todd Campbell was a pretty dangerous returner along side Deonta Murry. And yes, I would say that Hazzard is not only a talented O-Lineman but a great team leader as well. I might need some confirmation on this, but I'm pretty sure he was a captain all-four years of his high school career (I know he was while he was at CHS).

yes todd has the ability to be a dangerous returner but he only returned kicks on a few occassions and if I am not mistaken none were for touchdowns or even huge gains. You should of nominated someone who made a difference returning the football. However, o-line award should go to somebody off the ravenwood line.

If it were to go to an RHS lineman, then it would be Thompson or Snoeyebos.

Both tackles made the All Area 1st Team...and rightly so....Snoeyenbos & Thompson...#60 & 68...

I'm sure that all on this list are well deserving. But why no Becker from Ravenwood on the list? Look how he is leading the Rapters through the Playoffs.

What about Mondelli and Holling from Brentwood? Mondelli had 81 tackles, 46 solo and Holling rushed for over 900 yards and averaged 32.8 yards per Kick Off return with the longest being a 91 yard return for a TD.

Some real talent has been overlooked. I hope to see some of these names on the All Region list.

      This whole situation is bonkers. You don’t just kick your star player off the team just because you heard them say the F word; the coach definitely had something against the player, or somebody definitely did. Also, nobody has brought up the idea that the school blackmailed the college to get the college to withdraw the scholarship offer, not to mention that the coach who kicked her off is no longer even with the program; they were fired. I think this is a pretty easy lawsuit. I don’t know if she should deserve that much money, but I think she should get enough money for a full-ride scholarship if she cannot get one after this situation.

      Oh yeah, I’m sure you are different people just always on the same thread for some reason, always agreeing with each other, perhaps just a bunch of dorks who would like to ###### and moan about high school football coaches do a lot of other students, so you make a football team and get a yell at them. When they do something wrong, but I’m sure you don’t like that, do you?   and I’m sure I’m aware of where you get information. A teacher who was on the coaching staff but was fired after the new coaching and staff came in and realized he actually had to start taking his assistant job a little bit more seriously than just wanting to make a little extra cash on the side, hardly even showing up to most practices, should’ve left with his buddy to go to Farragut. I’m sure he could get him a defensive coaching job, but I doubt he will be there in three years. Looking at the way Farragut is currently going.

      It may be hard to believe but there’s more people than me that think you guys are a bunch of losers.    I’m sure the coaching staff, yourself included, cursed at a bunch of high school students. Nobody could name more than 3 coaches on staff due to the constant turnover.

      That's complete BS.  Nobody at ACHS has access to CHS student records unless a transfer is made from CHS to ACHS.

      Trez's last scandal has died down, so I guess this is there opportunity to be the best 4A team playing in 2A a la Sissy MTN.  At least they won't be in a Z-district with 1a teams in the regular season.
