Snavely's the one that started the tradition, so I think he will continue. Saw in the paper they lost to UH by 1 but I'm sure it will take a while to get things clicking. Snavely seems to be happy to be back on the hardwood and he has the talent to make some noise. Best of Luck to the Rangers!!!

I thought they looked prety tough last night on Defense.but the Offense still had some football in it from what i seen. UH, there a one man team, shut him down( if you can) And there beat. but over all Unaka they looked tough.

Unaka was asking for breaks about every two minutes and it was jamboree but i do have to give props to Grindstaff who hit two or three straight threes to bring them back he has improved a lot

Woodacre is the best player in the conferance by far. One of the best in the area. But if you can get a good defense to contain him (don't know if you can just flat out shut down a player with that skill,) get him in foul trouble, or if he just isn't hitting, UH is doomed against a good oppenent... Unaka started out quick, UH didn't even get a shoot off their first four possesions. When UH went to zone, it seemed Unaka couldn't penatrate it. Bad passes and tournovers sunk the Rangers in the middle of the "game." But, you've got to think, they've only been together as a team for about 10 days... They'll be fine.

Those three's were clutch, but he had two staight tournovers in the middle of the game (6 over-all)... But John will get it worked out...

I never heard anyone ask for a break. They ran for 12 minutes, same as y'all did. We only had 1 that had been in football that played. We are in shape and ready to play, come game time you will find that out.

if they really wanted to they probaly could have beat them i think they showed that in the first 2 minutes how strong they came out then they just let of so i guess they were just trying not to show anything i dont know tho but they are in shape next time they play UH better guard Roper and Church who can both shoot well

WHEN Roper, Church and Grindstaff all come and play the game they are capable of, they're probably on of the best three or four 1A teams east of Region 7... But they will have to show up every night...

      Sorry Barn. I wasn’t specific enough. It seems I’m always protecting the principal at 825. My interactions with her have been extremely positive, but very limited. With all the other stories being told, I’m confident there are other sides I am not aware of. Regardless, there are lots of decent people earning good checks up there. Maybe too good, which explains why no one is willing to speak up. My beef is with the poor communication among the athletic programs and with the administration. Seven years ago the poor communication led to my son missing graduation due to a sporting event that was planned months before. I chalked it up to the system being totally shocked that the baseball team made it out of their district, and our then AD was a football coach. Maybe they were surprised and did not plan appropriately. That was more palatable than they just didn’t give a crap. Déjà vu, seven years later, same thing. Different administration, but same result.  Maybe in seven more years, it will actually be “about the kids”. They should do better.
