Laugerhead says Friendship should win the game. L.L. is looking forward to coming to this game this week. Laugerhead thinks Jeremy Rickaway will be the difference. Does anyone know the status of John Markham? He got hurt the other night and didn't return.

This dude isnt a FCS fan. We wont claim him. I doubt anyone will.

As for Markham, he is done. Tore his hammy

yeah well FCS completely shut Temples offense down. I guarantee Temples offense is better than hampton's. So theres my logic. And I am not a FCS, Temple, or any other team fan, other than LV.

How can you guarantee that our offense isn't better than Temple's? We've not played one another this year. If it's any consolation, Temple beat Unaka by 30 something, we beat them by 40 something, and we've gotten a lot better offensively since that game. So your logic and prediction doesn't hold any clout.

Aint you got a circle drill or some color guard thing you should be doing?

There have been comments made about FCS coaches not pulling their starters. There were several games this year when the starters were pulled after the 1st quarter. If our starters had played all game every game Rickaway would have had 4000 yards.

The quarter final match was against a differnet type team with big strong players. Our coaches weren't trying to score, just didn't want to put our younger players in a situation to be seriously injured. We kept the ball on the ground, and tried to keep the clock running. If you remember we had already lost one of our freshman running backs earlier in the game with a torn hamstring. I can't believe we are having this conversation about a game between two of the highest ranked teams in the state, both 12-0, with high powered offenses.

    • I believe that was last year. I was interested in the Jones vs Baker comment, so I went back and looked at GC. I am not a fan of either nor am I a baseball guru. This looks like to me the duel was not close and if the errors would not have been made Eagleville would have won. I assume you are a little biased. I do think your mph for Jeffcoat and Baker must be from last year.  Baker-85 pitches 67 strikes. 5.2 innings, 5H, 1BB, 0ER and 7K's. 3 errors  Jones- 78 pitches 37 strikes. 4 innings, 2H, 5BB, 0ER and 1K. 1 error   Adams and the UH kid are really good as well. What about South Pitt and Oakdale? I heard they have some good ones.
    • I hate this for all the kids in the program and fans alike. I can't recall of anything like this before in my lifetime but I'm sure it isn't a first. After criminal investigations are complete and the TSSAA looks into this the program it will be facing Nuclear Winter for some time to come. It's always the innocent left behind that end up paying the price for something someone else has done. I'm sure the transfer portal will be very active in Clinton over the summer months. How could you find a good coach worth his salt that would take on a situation like this not knowing what will happen.
    • I’ve seen Jeffcoat in person twice and he was 84-87 both times and the one time I saw Baker he was low 80’s, he actually got out dueled by Jones from ER in that outing.
    • Pirate fans, thread is up on the baseball message board.
