Hillsboro all the way.....volunteer....you gotta be kindding....they weren't even really underated they pulled it together at the end but in the beginning they played how everyone said they would.....

 

VHS also lost in the first round of the playoffs after talking smack to THS....(which they couldn't handle...)

 

Hillsboro was picked 3rd or 4th in their region and they're are 14-0 and playing for a State Title.....

Maplewood is definately the most underrated 4A team in the state.....they should've not over looked their last opponent...they were licking their chops for a rematch with Hillsboro and should've won the first one.

...shoulda coulda woulda. so maplewood was already gameplanning 2 weeks ahead for the hillsboro game? is that why they lost? they had to win 2 playoff games before given the privelidge of a rematch. "overlooking" is a pathetic excuse for any teams loss. and hillsboro shouldnt have allowed maplewod to have a chance toward the end of the game with sloppy play and turnovers.

 

i wouldnt give the underrated title to hillsboro because we knew we were going to be very competitive, so i would give it to henry county for making it as far as they did.

wut about rhea county??? gave maryville their best game in 2 years had red bank on the ropes and if they didnt fumble would've won, also only lost to Ootlewa Red Bank and Maryville which all are top 2 in there class, and loss to Mcminn who is a very powerful team

can we get a oooorah for knoz west picked only in front of lenior city and clinton and ended up beating powell, halls and central ...all by i may add 2 td's or more....and 1st playoff appearance in 3yrs. and killing clevland..and returing a total of 8 ppl on defense and......2 of the most prolifice playmakers in 4a jake ryan and ken easterly..looks to be another great year 4 knox west

Both Hillsboro and Knox. West were this years major sleepers, although Hillsboro has had a lot of success in recent years. Knox. West gets my vote.
