The Raptor Nation will leave the school at 4:00 Saturday afternoon and make their way to the stadium lead by a police escort! That's how we roll! :angry:

Thats exactly how Franklin came to Murfreesboro to play Riverdale in 2004, and we all know how that worked out for Franklin. :thumb:

 

As to the 'party' afterwards, 'CATERED'? Don't anybody there actually know how to cook? It is NOT rocket science. You take a sharpened stick, shove it up a hot dogs tail, and then put it over fire for a couple of minutes. Then you take it and put it on a bun. Cover with the condiments you happen to like and eat it.

 

Next thing you know y'all will be saying you will only drink Gatoraide mixed with Perrie Water ( or however the fancy French water is spelled).

 

Working class Bulldogs vs some bird that some say is extinct and some say is a meat eater.

 

Bulldogs remember 2004. Y'all got sent home by R'dale while we went to the BCB and sent Franklin home with a 35-7 LOSS. Think y'all can beat that score?

However, if the QB Club offers to pay for catering...would you turn that down? Don't give me this working class garbage...you've clearly never set foot inside the Ravenwood zoned area...Nolensville is as blue collar as they come. Great place.

 

Yes, there are some big houses in Brentwood, but do these people need be ashamed of the fact that they were successful in life and receive great pay while working a great job?

I think he was responding the posts that were saying our "Trailer Park" was burning down. Had this not been said, he may not have been compelled to go back to the "Class" comments

Not bitter at all. Just a Smyrna alum that don't take well at folks looking down their noses at us. Yes I am VERY familiar with Nolesville as I had relatives living there when I was growing up and loved it. As to being resentful at folks having success, NOT at all. If I was resentful of success I would NOT have a house that is 'paid' for and over $100,000.00 in the bank! Some of us go for substance over style everytime.

 

As to the Franklin v R'dale we ALL heard how Franklin was gonna stomp lil ole R'dale much like we are hearing now. Thing is it is NOT the same Smyrna y'all 'barely' got by early in the season. They changed their whole defensive set after the game with R'dale. They proved this in their win over R'dale in the playoffs. Just ask Ooletawah how their defense is now.

 

It is great that fans of any team believe in their team, but NOT at the expense of others who believe just as much in theirs.

 

As to what I believe is that BOTH teams will give it their all and that is how it should be. I 'think' Smyrna will win while y'all think Ravenwood will win and that is how it should be. While I do not bleed Purple and Gold like 82cat does, I still have feelings for my OLD high school. While I did not like them beating R'dale, I was proud of them that night they did it as they played their hearts out and it showed. This same effort and pride is what Ravenwood will be going against tonight.

 

If Ravenwood wins I will be one of the first on here to congratulate you just as I will Smyrna if they do. I am only on here for the LOVE I have for the game of Football itself and what it has given me over the years.

      Not sure what you mean? 40 TOTAL? Macon is a good team no doubt, but I believe they've only scored 35 total points against Uppeeman the last two years, and that's over three games.

      This scenario resonates with the dynamics observed in my hometown of Hartsville. The undue influence of politics on high school sports remains a pervasive issue, detracting from the integrity of athletic programs.  The proliferation of individuals driven by a thirst for power inevitably precipitates the downfall of any program. It appears that we are currently grappling with similar challenges akin to those faced by Greenback. Please accept my condolences for your ordeal.

      From what we are hearing on the reservation we will be lucky to beat sunbright. And trust me I am not throwing stones at them because they play their hearts out. It’s a tuff game every year, just like Oakdale but when you have small numbers that’s what you get. And then you add in that you loose two top linemen and the starting qb!!!! Along with a running back!  We are in deep trouble.
