The "party" was sad but still nice. We were celebrating how far we had come in only 4 years of varsity football. We were there for our team when they needed us, and that is what mattered. They played a long hard season, and deserved a little "party" at the end.

the article says win or lose they are planning a celebration for getting that far two years in a row. I would celbrate too if we went to back to back state title games. what's wrong with congratulating the kids for that? i think it's great that they are saying win or lose we are going to celebrate your accomplishments. don't make a big deal out of nothing

It's a hidden message they said "we are planning a party win or loose" they say "win or loose" to cover up for their cockyness you see how far that got them. If it was not publicly mentioned in the newspapers it wouldn't have been a big deal looks like the jinx was on ravenwood last night.
