Collinwood travels to Wayne Co Dec 5. Should be a great game. What's the thoughts on this one? Good luck to the Trojanettes and come out with the win.

I do not think that anyone has the horses to run with Collinwood, except maybe Summertown. Let me give this some thought and I will then make a prediction. Right now I would have to say Collinwood by double digits. Good luck to both teams and stay healthy.

Collinwood and Wayne County are two teams that completely contrast each other. Collinwood is a very guard centered team that has lots of speed and loves to get out in transition, whereas Wayne County is a very post oriented team that has tons of size and likes the half-court game. The only negative the Lady Trojans have right now is that they do not have a ton of size inside or a real capable inside scorer. Wayne County's negative is that they do not have a strong point guard or more then one real consistent outside shooter.

 

All in all, this is HUGE rivalry game. Both teams always bring their "A" game against each other. I would imagine that emotions, plus the fact that each teams strengths and weaknesses completely contrast each other probably had something to do with the closeness of this game. All of the games between these two teams this year will be close.
