Lexington High School junior Camara Mitchell suffered a broken leg during last night's game with Bolivar. She was going for a loose ball when she and a Bolivar player's legs got tangled up. We know how that is first hand. My daughter had surgery on her ankle and then on her knee two summers in a row. My prayers are with her. God Bless and have a Merry CHRISTmas. Unaka High School parent.

Camara had successful surgery to repair the break this afternoon. Dr. Jason Hutchinson performed the hour long surgery. She will spend tonight in the hospital and if all goes well, be released tomorrow. Everything looks good for a complete recovery. Thank you for your prayers.
