It was 54-51 in overtime. It was a great game. Gleason 15 of 16 from the line, Collinwood 6 of 16. It was a classic game in a tournament type atmosphere. The folks at Huntingdon did a great job of hosting the Christmas Classic. It is becoming a great event in West Tennessee.

How many great games are determined by free throws??? MOST OF THEM. The basics is what separates great teams from championship teams!!!!

Kayla had 33 points in the game, she is a great player and so much fun to watch play. Whats nice is she is an even better person and will make Union University a fine player and student, Coach Campbell got a good one.

Gleason does all the little things...They will not get beat by making stupid mistakes...They will not beat themselves....

Coach Frazier would probably agree with this post. Gleason has many weakness that are going to have to be deal with if Gleason makes it to state this year. Gleason's strength this year has been its defense, few people thought their defense would be as good as it is. There are other areas that needed a lot of work. Many people thought Gleason didn't have any weakness last year, but Lake County show many of those weakness at tourament time. What has helped Gleason this year is that the district is so much weaker than last year. Hope that no one finds out those weakness - Gleason all the way to state.

She will be this year's Class A Miss Basketball.

 

She is a complete player and should win it, I hope she does. She is a leader on the floor, can score and is so unselfish. She will beat you so many different ways.

 

Kayla hit 20 out of 21 shots in the Collinwood game and scored 33 points. (11/11 FT's, 4/4 3 pointers and 5 of 6 from the field)

Hit 9 out of 10 shots and had 33 against a good team. Thats great.
