What's going on with Gordonsville? They get beat by Friendship and then turn around and beat a pretty good Macon County team tonight. Can anybody shed a little light on that situation?

 

In the Friendship game Gordonsville's best player and only senior did not play well. When she struggles, the whole team does the same; when she plays well, the rest of the team plays well. And she played a much better game against Macon Co.

The biggest problem with G'ville's loss to FCS or anyone elese is that sometimes their girls forget that they are a TEAM and it takes a WHOLE team to win, not just one or two girls. If they could play as a team every game they have a great shot to go far at tournament time, if not they'll be lucky to make it through the district.
